Cases
Swish Integration
In the Swedish mobile payment space, Swish dominates as the primary solution for transactions between users and businesses.
Unlike Vipps/Mobilepay, Swish has decentralized all payment processing, onboarding, and fraud screening to the participating banks.
This project involved architecting the system, implementing and integrating user/business onboarding into the Lunar app, processing payments internally within Lunar by handling ISO 20022 instructions from Swish, and ensuring the implementation of fraud screening measures.
Card Scheme Tokenization
Design and lead implementation of the card administration of tomorrow. This entails onboarding and storing card information, tokenization of the given card and reacting to different events coming from the card schemes (VISA and MasterCard).
The setup fully supported card lifecycle management, where you go from a physical card to modeling a digital card agreement.
By doing payments with tokens instead of card on file data, you significantly lower the risk of unauthorized access to card information and fraud.
Bankgirot - Clearing and Settlement
In 2022, Lunar Bank launched a campaign to enter the Swedish market. A central step in that journey was to enable domestic account-to-account transfers through direct integration with the Swedish batch-clearing infrastructure.
The work entailed developing, integrating and architecting all aspects of the services involved.
The completion of this project was a vital first step for Lunar, enabling them to later integrate to the Bankgirot System payment system from where they could start to become on par with the established banks in Sweden, and offer their consumers similar products on the Lunar platform.
Mobile Payment Consolidation
The Nordic mobile payment space saw significant changes during the last years. Gone were the divided payment space between Vipps and MobilePay and we saw the merger of Vipps and MobilePay.
We were an integral part of this consolidation as we were in the payment execution domain.
The work entailed doing the Danish and Finnish payment flows and card and account integrations again on a new platform, testing and verifying in production and rolling payment support for Denmark and Finland out to the end users.
